About
Hi, I'm Nicole!
I’m a qualitative-specializing UX researcher currently based in Los Angeles. Throughout my 6 years of working in the entertainment tech industry, I’ve garnered a host of research expertise by leading both sides of generative and tactical research, as well as holistic end-to-end research.
I have a strong natural curiosity for the “why”s of things, and for learning the stories of the people (and users!) around me (if this tells you anything, I love reading memoirs and listening to podcasts like Invisibilia, 99% Invisible, and Hidden Brain). Whilst having a peculiar attention to detail, I flourish in environments where I get to partake in big-picture strategization efforts.
Outside of work, I enjoy...
Being active and in nature
Indoor bouldering has been my newest obsession, and I’ve been exploring LA’s beautiful hiking trails, too!
Art and music
I love going to art galleries and museums, live music shows, and both room + stage karaoke. I’ve also been re-teaching myself piano (I played for 9 years when I was younger, but I started flute lessons in lieu of piano lessons so I could join my high school’s marching band).
Photography
I tried my hand at night sky photography during the August ‘24 Perseids Meteor Shower – and was able to catch a meteor on camera (see if you can spot it)!
Traveling
My latest international trip was to Japan – it was my third time going, and I’d go again in a heartbeat!
